Dear Candidate,
On behalf of the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, the Bay Area Business Roundtable and the League of Women Voters we are pleased to invite all registered Mayoral Candidates to the Candidates Forum scheduled for Thursday, September 23.
The Oakland Tribune, KTVU Channel 2 and ABC Channel 7 will be present as well as other media. We request you arrive at or before 6:30 pm to be briefed and seated so we may start promptly at 7 pm.
Being guided by the ‘WHAT IS BEST FOR OAKLAND’, we believe the voters deserve to hear from each candidate and not just those who met or would accept the eligibility criteria.
The forum will be held at the Kaiser Center Auditorium at 300 Lakeside Dr., Oakland, our program will start promptly at 7 pm with questioning till 8:30 pm at the discretion of the media and our moderator.
